My name used to be Elizabeth Tucker, but in 2002, during my freshman year of college, I met this guy named Josh Howeth in journalism class. I thought his last name was kind of weird. Now it’s mine. Oh ya, and it rhymes with my first name.
I started this blog in January 2007 when we moved to San Francisco. It was a way for me to post pictures and keep my family (mostly living in Oregon) in the loop of our lives. And hence, the old title was “Howeth We’re Doing”.
Exactly 5 years later, the blog is getting a little facelift. First, I decided to move it to WordPress. I was faithful to Blogspot for a long time but I just wanted a different look and I feel like WordPress has a cleaner, more professional look. Because, if you know me, you know I’m a pretty high-class person. If you don’t know me, you should know that dry humor is my favorite and sarcasm is the icing of life.
We are now living in Corvallis, Oregon and come fall of 2012, my husband and I and our team are starting a church on the Oregon State University campus called, The Branch. Since I married Josh, I knew we were going to have a life in ministry but I didn’t anticipate being a “Pastor’s wife” at the humble age of 28. However, I am ecstatic about this new adventure and feel so blessed to get to watch all that God is going to do and how He is going to work.
We have 2 kids, Tucker Hudson, born on March 11, 2009 and Eden Mae born on May 22, 2011.
My days consist of drinking coffee, hanging out with my kiddos, cooking, cleaning, seeing friends, pinching my husband’s butt, wasting my time on facebook, blogging occassionally, listening to music, trying to spend time with Jesus, practicing my cello, watching some Office or Parks and Rec or HGTV or Parenthood and doing whatever else might come up.
So, all that to say, this blog is an online journal of what I like to call my “Deep Thoughts” (if you’ve ever seen the 1990s SNL skit) Really, it’s no deep thoughts at all. Just ramblings and stories and pictures to make myself feel like I have a cool life.
